The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park & Recreation Association (EMP&RA) is a spectacular venue with something for everyone. Formal or casual, large or small, your event at The Barn will make a lasting impression.
Arrive at the historic Barn Chapel in a horse and carriage, and sweep across the native flagstone floors into this spacious and charming old log building. Look out through the giant stained glass windows and see the lake and the high mountain meadow where buffalo, fallow deer and elk make their home. This assembly of 5 old barns has 3 levels which provide a splendid rustic character. For outdoor ceremonies and receptions, find your way to the gazebo or arch in the beautiful Meadow Grounds.
The staff at The Barn are eager to help you customize your event. Evergreen Memorial Park & Recreation Association (EMP&RA) is non-denominational and the Park Chaplain is available to help make your ceremony unique and meaningful to you. Bring your favorite caterer to create their specialties in the spacious serving area or allow the staff at the Barn to offer a list of suggested caterers. With so many choices, your day will be remembered exactly the way you want it to be.
Our goal at the Park is to address and support the wedding according to the statement that you wish to make to your family and friends. This includes attire from jeans and vests to tuxedos.

Chaplain and Counseling

Ron Lewis, owner and park chaplain has officiated at weddings for over twenty years and is available to perform your non-denominational ceremony.

Ron desires to get to know you and to understand the plan for your marriage. He enjoys working with you to personalize your vows and the order of your ceremony.

He is also available to officiate at other locations in the Denver-metro area or up to a 50 mile radius from Evergreen.
